Namitha is introduced in vijeyakanth movie Engal Anna. This was her first entry in tamil.Miss India contest brought Namitha to telugu film industry. After entering Tollywood, she immediately grabbed the attention of telugu film lovers with her action in both Sontam and Gemini though the films didn’t fare well in the box office. Namitha loves White and Black colors. White roses are her favorite flowers. She swims and plays Badminton in her leisure. Interestingly she used to coach swimming for kids. Namitha reads Novels of Sidney Sheldon and prefers reading Comics. Coming to films, Namitha likes Nandita Das, Tabu, Paresh Rawal. She likes Animals and Birds aswell.
